About the Show

Previous shows have raised a total of £43,498 for charity. In 2010 we will be supporting Rainbows Children's Hospice and L.O.R.O.S.

The Trophies awarded page shows the award winners in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.

Reports on some previous shows can be found in the "pdf" files of the free Woodhouse and Woodhouse Eaves magazine, Roundabout: You can view some more photos from the 2007 Show here These (unlike the printed copies) show the pictures in colour.
Other copies of Roundabout can be found on the Parish Council website here.

The 2006 show was reported in Roundabout, as follows:

Horticultural and Craft Show Report

Despite the warm weather and the lack of rain there was a really excellent display of fruit, flowers and vegetables of a very high standard.  In the Culinary, Craft and Children's classes the standard of exhibits was also very high, but there was space for many more exhibits.  Visitors flocked in during the afternoon with admiring remarks and appreciative eyes.  The evening auction and raffle were well supported with generous bids and exciting raffle prizes.

Retiring Secretaries Eric & Diane Allsop thank all exhibitors, helpers and the diminishing number of local residents who helped to found the Show 18 years ago. In particular, those indispensable Committee members for coping with so many tasks. This year's charities, PROSTaid, Hearing Dogs for the Deaf and the Alzheimers Society will share over £2,000.

Roundabout warmly thanks Eric and Diane for keeping the show on the road all these years, helping to raise just under £40,000 for charities.  And well done to all the winners and exhibitors!
